Warragamba Public School, opened in 1948, is in a semi-rural area. It serves a supportive and close-knit community.
The school is located close to Warragamba Dam. Historical links are maintained with the Sydney Catchment Authority. Our school participated in celebrations at the Town Hall for Warragamba Dam's 40th birthday this year.
Our aim is to ensure a positive learning environment which promotes scholarship and is motivating, safe, challenging and creative. The school leadership emphasises child protection, good discipline and effective learning.
The school has a reputation for academic, sporting and cultural achievements. Parents, students, teachers and members of the community actively contribute to making our school an attractive, safe and welcoming environment.
Many aspects of our curriculum allow the students the opportunity to participate in innovative and comprehensive learning activities which promote a positive set of values.
